 THE PROJECT

IMAGINE NOT BEING ABLE TO

FEED YOURSELF. IMAGINE HOW

THAT WOULD MAKE YOU FEEL.

One Spoonful

That's the sad fact facing those with disabilities.

It's something that seems so insignifcant: being able to feed yourself. We teach infants how to before they even walk and talk. And even babies know how insulting it can be, refusing to eat unless approached at a certain angle or pampered with airplane sounds.

That's where One Spoonful at a Time comes in. With your donation, we will be able to purchase suction bowls and adaptive eating utensils for ACD Uganda. They will be able to experience feeding themselves for the first time. It may seem minor to us, but to them it is a huge leap forward towards becoming self-sufficient members of society.

Carlow JAM

You can pledge your support for one or more or all of the initiatives of this year's Carlow JAM.  Show your colors by wearing a ribbon representing one of the efforts to improve the lives of vulnerable children in the world.  Donate here or in the Carlow Commons or in AJP on Scholarship Day to support our Carlow Scholars who have designed small changes for big impacts!

Join us in AJP on Scholarship Day, April 21st to show your support by painting the CARLOW JAM Mural Project with Pittsburgh artist, Kyle Holbrook.
